The Day the Sun Died

The Sun Dying 1d05c6 Thumb

The days kept getting shorter. Darkness kept coming sooner. Plants and flowers began to fade away. More people became sick. More people became terrified. The world was in turmoil. The climate was askew. The oceans revolted with giant waves. Animals, like sensing bad weather, sensed something bad was coming. Birds hid away from the sky. The clouds got thinner. The weather men and weather women issued dire warnings. Scientists and governments issued dire warnings too. Then with a hiss and a boom the sun finally fizzled out, and the earth spun out of orbit and blew up. And all lifeforms on earth died out, except those people who had colonized other planets in other galaxies.
